Queen Elizabeth National Park

Queen Elizabeth National Park is one of Uganda’s most popular national parks. The park boasts a vast array of wild life such as elephants, buffaloes, hippos, Uganda Kobs, water bucks, antelopes, baboons, chimpanzees and the famous climbing lions as well as the greatest concentration of birds in East Africa with over 600 species like the Martial Eagle, Weavers, Common Squacco Heron, Glossy and Sacred Ibises to name but a few.

4 days and three nights – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 1: Meet and greet at the hotel in Kampala then depart for Queen Elizabeth N.P. The journey to Queen Elizabeth is a truly scenic one covering some of the most beautiful parts of the country. Check in and go for an evening game drive. Dinner and overnight stay.
Overnight options include Simba Safari Camp, Mweya Safari Lodge, Katara Lodge or Jacana Eco Lodge.

Day 2: After breakfast set off at 6:00am for an early morning game drive along the Kasenyi track. Here you are hoping to see a variety of animals including the lions in their natural habitat. Head back to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon take a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, the link between Lake Edward and Lake George. The 40km long Kazinga channel provides the park’s prime wildlife spectacle. Its shoreline attracts large number of birds, mammals and reptiles year round. Return to the lodge for an evening of relaxation or spent by the campfire. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to the Ishasha section of Queen Elizabeth N.P. As you drive you will see various wildlife and also tree climbing lions. Check in for lunch at Ishasha Wilderness Camp and in the afternoondo a game safari drive then return later for dinner and overnight at Ishasha Wilderness camp.
Day 4: After Breakfast , begin your journey back into Kampala with a stop for lunch at the Igongo Cultural Museum en route.
